P-51D Mustang
Originally Designed By Walt Musciano
|
Ranked as the best all-around fighter of World War Two, the P-51 Mustang helped turn the tide of war in Europe. The combination of speed, manuverability, and long range made it a feared opponent. This kit was originally designed by Walt Musciano in 1962, and has been updated and improved . The kit features a builtup wing and profile fuselage. The generous wing area is designed for Norvel, TD, or Brodak type engines. A conversion to a Black Widow radial mount engine is included in the kit. The wing is of tongue and groove construction which makes a strong, light weight wing, that is almost warp proof. The kit is complete with decals, landing gear, wheels, and all hardware. A set of FULL SIZE PLANS are included to ease construction. This plane will fly stunt, is very fast, and should make a good combat model. Fly on 35' to 42' steel lines for optimum performance.
