P-40 Warhawk
Originally Designed By Walt Musciano
|
The P-40 Warhawk was the only American aircraft to counter attack the Japanese on December 7th. Most famous for its exploits in the hands of the Flying Tigers in China, it is one of the most famout planes ever built and instantly recognizeable. This kit was originally designed by Walt Musciano in 1962, and has been updated and improved . The kit features a builtup wing and profile fuselage. The generous wing area is designed for Norvel, TD, or Brodak type engines. A conversion to a Black Widow radial mount engine is included in the kit. The wing is of tongue and groove construction which makes a strong, light weight wing, that is almost warp proof. The kit is complete with decals, landing gear, wheels, and all hardware. A set of FULL SIZE PLANS are included to ease construction. This plane will fly stunt, is very fast, and should make a good combat model. Fly on 35' to 42' steel lines for optimum performance.
