The S.E.5a was fast, maneuverable at high altitude and easy to fly.   It outclassed all German aircraft from its arrival at the Front in 1917 until the appearance of the Fokker D-VIII in 1918.   The SE-5a was extremely popular with Allied pilots and over 2,700 were used during the First World War.  Black Hawk Models faithfully reproduces this historic aircraft.   One of Walt Musciano's great designs, this colorful scale bird will turn heads at the flying field.
